From a grumpy old optimist!!
….I might very well be a ‘grumpy old man’, I just don’t like being labelled as one.
I think I’m an interested, concerned, forward thinking, moral minded protector and developer of the British way of life.
In making this statement I’m certainly not a revisionist trying to turn the ‘social’ clock back to some golden age when life was less hectic and our fun came in cheaper doses.
Actually, I much prefer to be what I’ve always been….an eternal optimist. BUT ‘it aint half difficult’ to remain ever-optimistic in the face of all that we see and hear about the disintegration of our society.
So if I’m allowed I would like to subscribe to the TEC web site by writing regularly about the good, the positive, and the feel good things that we see going on around us…Junior Mastermind was on telly last night….who says our kids can’t be bothered learning.
